How to Measure Your Bedding

Finding Your "Just-Right" Fit

Mattresses come in many shapes and sizes. We’re here to help you find bedding that fits yours — not too big, not too small, but just right.

If you don’t see your mattress size listed, don’t worry. We custom-make bedding in nearly every shape and dimension. To get started, use the measuring guide below and contact us for a custom quote.

Step 1: Clear the Bed

Remove all bedding — sheets, blankets, pillows, protectors — so nothing interferes with your measurements.

Step 2: Measure Width, Length & Thickness

Using a tape measure:

  • Measure width from the widest point side to side (especially important if the mattress has curves or cut corners).
  • Measure length from top to bottom, again using the longest points.
  • Measure thickness from the very top of the mattress to the bottom edge.

Special Shapes? No Problem.

Cut Corners / Angled Mattresses

  • Measure the overall width and length of the mattress.
  • Measure each straight side leading up to the angle, as well as the angled edge itself.
  • Be sure to note which corner is angled — right or left, head or foot.

Radius (Rounded) Corners

To measure the curve:

  • Place a ruler or tape measure flush along each straight side of the mattress and move them toward the corner until they meet the curve.
  • The distance from the ruler to the mattress edge is your radius.
  • Note where the radius corners are located — right or left, head or foot.
